Ingredients

Whole wheat grain – 1 cup

TAPL Palm Jaggery Powder – 1 cup

Water – 2.5 cups (for jaggery syrup)

Ghee – 4 tbsp

Cashews – 10

Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

Instructions

Soak wheat overnight. Grind and extract wheat milk (strain well).

Dissolve TAPL Karupatti in water. Filter and boil the syrup.

Mix jaggery syrup with wheat milk and cook on low, stirring continuously.

As it thickens, add ghee gradually. Stir till halwa leaves the sides.

Fry cashews in ghee, add along with cardamom. Serve hot or set into pieces.
