Ingredients

Besan (gram flour) – 1 cup

Ghee – 3/4 cup (hot)

TAPL Palm Jaggery Powder – 1 cup

Water – 1/4 cup

Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

Sift and roast besan on low heat for 2–3 mins. Set aside.

In a pan, dissolve Karupatti in water. Strain to remove impurities.

Bring jaggery syrup to soft ball consistency (test by dropping in water).

Add besan gradually, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Pour hot ghee in parts while stirring. Add cardamom.

When the mixture leaves the sides, pour into a greased tray.

Cool, cut into squares.
