Ingredients

  • Cooked rice – 2 cups
  • Sesame seeds – 2 tbsp
  • Dry red chilies – 2
  • Sastha Sesame Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Salt – to taste

Instructions

  • Dry roast sesame seeds and red chilies till they splutter. Cool and grind coarsely.
  • Heat sesame oil, temper mustard, urad dal, and curry leaves.
  • Add the ground sesame mixture and salt. Sauté lightly.
  • Mix with hot rice gently.
  • Serve with papad or curd.
