Ingredients

Rava (semolina) – 1 cup

Ubari Urad Dal – 1 tsp

Chana dal – 1 tsp

Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp

Green chilies – 2 (slit)

Ginger – 1 tsp (grated)

Onion – 1 (chopped)

Curry leaves – few

Hing – a pinch

Water – 2.5 cups

Salt – to taste

Groundnut oil – 2 tbsp

Instructions

Dry roast rava until light golden. Keep aside.

Heat oil. Temper mustard, urad dal, chana dal, hing, curry leaves.

Add onion, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté till translucent.

Pour water and salt. Bring to a boil.

Slowly add rava, stirring continuously.

Cook covered on low till soft. Fluff and serve hot.
